 \, 2026 – Böhlen Airfield (EDOE) From August 20-23\, 2026\, the 34th Germa
 n Championship in Ultralight Flying (UL-DM) will take place at Böhlen Airf
 ield (EDOE). The Federal Commission for Ultralight Aviation in the DAeC is
  organizing the competition together with the German Ultralight Flying Ass
 ociation (DULV) and the Böhlen Flying Club. The championship has been deli
 berately moved to August this year to take advantage of more stable weathe
 r conditions and to create the fairest possible competitive conditions\, p
 articularly for trike and open UL classes. Safety-Oriented Competition The
  German Championship in Ultralight Flying pursues\, alongside sporting com
 petition\, the explicit goal of promoting safety awareness and flying prec
 ision among all participants. It is regarded as one of the best safety tra
 ining programs within general aviation. Sporting success should not be def
 ined solely by placements\, but by the understanding that the "best pilot"
  is simultaneously the safest and most responsible pilot. Error evaluation
 s should serve recognition and learning promotion – as part
