The Role As a Licensed Aircraft Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, supervision, and certification of aircraft and aircraft systems , ensuring all activities meet regulatory, safety, and performance requirements. You will work closely with the Crew Chief and Chief Engineer to support customer contractual obligations while maintaining the highest engineering standards. In addition, you will provide day‑to‑day leadership to technical staff, offering guidance, mentoring, and professional support, while promoting a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Certify aircraft maintenance and aircraft equipment as allocated by the Crew Chief Support aircraft maintenance operations at the main base and at detached locations worldwide Supervise and carry out ground movements of assigned aircraft Ensure all maintenance activities are performed safely and in accordance with: Approved Maintenance Manuals Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) Regulatory and company requirements Supervise technical staff, ensuring duties are carried out correctly, safely, and efficiently Certify maintenance tasks completed by the team under your supervision Ensure accurate and timely completion of all associated aircraft maintenance documentation Coordinate engineering activities to ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget Review team performance and provide constructive feedback to the Crew Chief Maintain clean, safe, and well‑organised working areas at all times Identify opportunities to improve standards, processes, and efficiency through continuous improvement Support the Crew Chief with day‑to‑day team activities and deputise in their absence when required Assist with task prioritisation, scheduling, and team development Uphold and promote company core values at all times Experience, Skills & Qualifications Unrestricted CAA Part‑66 B1 and/or B2 Licence , with relevant type ratings and/or company authorisations Minimum 5 years’ experience within an aircraft maintenance environment (line, base, or workshop) Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements related to aircraft maintenance Proven ability to work to deadlines in a safety‑critical environment Excellent communication, teamwork, and stakeholder management skills Ability to motivate teams and influence positive change in line with organisational values Experience or demonstrable understanding of working within continuous improvement initiatives Our employee values Draken is committed to eliminating unlawful and unfair discrimination and we celebrate the differences that a diverse workforce brings.
