The "Ultimate Air Challenge" is a next-generation European aviation competition taking place from August 1-9, 2026, with start and finish in Chambley (France). It is a pan-European long-distance stage flight that combines navigation, strategic decision-making, endurance, and operational management. The route will include numerous control points throughout Europe, with several key waypoints in Germany, making the country an integral part of the competition route and media presence. Here are some preliminary figures: 40 crew members, 21 participating European countries, up to 11,000 km flight distance, approximately 45 flight hours, daily media coverage, live streaming, and strong digital presence. The UAC is intended to become a leading event for ultralight aviation in Europe, and Germany represents one of the most important and advanced ultralight nations in Europe.
