Aircraft Technician opportunities - South Wales Location: South Wales Salary: £43,000+ per annum Hours: Seasonal shift pattern (4- or 5-day week) I’m looking for a self-motivated Aircraft Technician to join my clients team in South Wales. If you’ve got solid experience in aircraft maintenance and take real pride in precision and safety, this could be a great fit. You’ll be hands-on with everything from scheduled checks to unscheduled maintenance, helping us keep aircraft flying safely and efficiently while working to Part 145 standards. You’ll be part of a tight-knit team that looks out for each other, where professionalism, safety, and quality always come first. What you’ll be doing: - Carrying out airframe maintenance in line with customer work packs and company procedures - Supporting engineers with day-to-day operations - mentoring, delegating, and keeping things running smoothly - Completing maintenance paperwork accurately and on time - Making sure all work meets Part 145, company, and Health & Safety requirements - Using, storing, and tracking all tooling and components correctly - Helping maintain a clean, safe, and efficient hangar environment and driving continuous improvement What I’m looking for - - Experience in aircraft maintenance within a Part 145 environment - A good understanding of aircraft systems, rigging, repairs, and modifications - Confidence working with AMMs, Service Bulletins, and Airworthiness Directives - An apprenticeship (or equivalent) in aviation or mechanical engineering (desirable) It’d be a bonus if you also have: Experience on any of the following: B737 (NG/CL), B757, B767, or A320 family aircraft Why apply?: - Competitive pay and shift premium - Seasonal shift patterns that offer flexibility - Annual refresher training every August - A supportive, professional environment that values quality, teamwork, and development * You must have the right to live and work in the UK to be considered If you’re an experienced technician who wants to work somewhere your skills genuinely matter -apply asap.
