Lupos Global has a requirement for a Maintenance Planning Engineer Contractor (Helicopters) for our client based in Shawbury. Our client is the largest Helicopter Manufacturer and offers bespoke completions, maintenance and spares support for both Civil and Military sectors. The Role: You will be responsible for the management of maintenance and materials planning requirements and the production of line and base maintenance work packs. Review of maintenance work packs completion prior to aircraft departure and updating the MIS as required. Contract details: Start date ASAP Based at RAF Shawbury 12 Month Minimum Contract - (likely to be extended) Line/Base Maintenance Monday-Friday - 08:00 - 17:00 – 40 hours per Week Hourly Rate £40 Per Hour and Falls under IR35 Due to the nature of this position you will require DBS Security Clearance and be eligible for SC clearance Must have a UK Passport/Right to live and work in the UK Job Description: Follow the company procedures in order to ensure compliance. Liaise with the Maintenance Team and other key departments to ensure a common understanding of maintenance capability and capacity. Enter technical log utilisation data onto the MIS. Review of allocated aircraft maintenance status to ensure compliance with the approved maintenance programme. Preparation and review of maintenance variations. Identify provisional maintenance dates for allocated aircraft based on projected utilisation and keep up to date the in-house maintenance planning calendar. Review material requirements against provisional maintenance dates for allocated aircraft. Raise reservations/purchase requisitions for required materials. Liaise with Customer Support Managers to confirm maintenance dates with the owner/operator. Experience Required: Good understanding of aircraft maintenance planning and material planning requirements as related to Part CAMO / A8-25 & Part 145 / A8-23. Proactive - ability to recognise potential issues and apply remedial action before they raise concern or affect operations.
