A Licence Engineer £67,000 - £76,500 (Total package) Permanent 4 on / 4 off (Nights) 10.45 hours per shift Gatwick Must be able to work in the UK without the need for sponsorship Client Overview: The client is a leading airline operator, who operates across the UK and Europe. The client has a long history of supporting A Licensed Engineers through to either their B1, B2 or both UK CAA recognised qualifications. Role Overview: The A Licensed Engineer will perform defect rectification and routine servicing as directed by the Duty Engineer or Certifying Licensed Aircraft Engineer in accordance with your authorisation scope and approved maintenance documentation. In addition, ensure that the maintenance activity performed supports both regulatory standards and the client’s industry leading safety and technical standards. Responsibilities: To perform aircraft maintenance tasks as directed by the Duty Engineer or Licensed Engineer. To ensure all work requiring a Certificate of Release to Service (CRS) is completed as required by the MOE, UK/EASA Requirements and NAA regulations. To ensure familiarity with the tasks allocated and to seek guidance where necessary. To conduct a thorough verbal handover of any partially completed tasks, either being taken on or passed on. Ensuring that all documentation is completed as far as possible. Partially completed tasks should only be accomplished in logical stages. To report to the Maintenance Manager any defects or conditions considered to represent a safety risk. To adhere to all pertinent safety precautions and procedures as published in manufacturers, company and other relevant publications. To comply with known and notified health and safety requirements. To ensure that all facilities, tools and equipment are satisfactory for the tasks to be completed and that any defects are notified to the Duty Engineer, Licensed Engineer or Stores and Tooling Manager. To comply with Station Standing Instructions. To accept other duties and responsibilities as may reasonably be requested by the Duty Engineer, Licensed Engineer or Maintenance Manager. Qualifications: Hold a UK Part 66 A License.
