Licensed Aircraft Engineers wanted (B1.3 / B2) 📍 Locations: Oxfordshire, Shropshire, Anglesey 💷 Salary: Competitive + Excellent Benefits 🕒 Shifts: Various shift patterns available About the Employer My client is a leading provider of helicopter maintenance, support, and operations across civil and military applications in the UK. Their UK operations include key sites in Oxfordshire, Shropshire, and Anglesey, delivering helicopter sales, bespoke completions, maintenance, technical support, and training. They are also a contracted provider for the UK Military Flying Training System (MFTS), supporting helicopter operations and maintenance at military training sites. The Role I'm seeking experienced UK CAA Part-66 B1.3 or B2 Licensed Engineers to join a professional team supporting H135 and H145 rotorcraft . You’ll be responsible for certifying line and non-routine maintenance, ensuring aircraft safety and availability. Type training may be provided for suitable candidates. Key Responsibilities Certify and perform maintenance and repair on H135/H145 aircraft. Provide engineering support to flight operations. Supervise and certify the work of maintenance personnel. Conduct avionic/electrical technical work both on-aircraft and in workshops. Assist with day-to-day hangar operations, including aircraft movement and general housekeeping. Essential Criteria UKCAA Part-66 B1.3 or B2 Licence Thorough knowledge of engine and airframe systems Knowledge of specialised test equipment relating to engine and airframe systems Up-to-date knowledge of: CAA regulations (Part 145, Part M, UK ANOs) Continued Airworthiness Management (CAM) Flight / Airport Operations Aircraft Line Maintenance Minimum 3 years’ experience in a certifying engineering role Must have the right to live and work in the UK Desirable Type rating and experience on H135 / H145 Experience with military aviation operations Familiarity with SAP/ERP systems Package Competitive salary Various shift patterns Access to multiple benefits including pension, private medical cover, share schemes, and employee purchase schemes Type rating courses and career progression available If you would like to discuss this opportunity further, please apply with your CV, or get in touch with me directly.
