Job Title: Aircraft Painter Location: Stansted Employment Type: Permanent Shifts: Monday – Friday 08:00- 16:30 Benefits: Annual Profit Share Scheme Overtime paid at 1.5 times hourly rate 29 days holiday including Bank Holidays Nationally recognised Training provided and career development opportunities Company Uniform Provided and all necessary PPE Employee Assistance Programme About the Role The Aircraft Painter is responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing aircraft surfaces in accordance with aviation industry standards and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Prepare aircraft surfaces for painting Mix paints and coatings to required specifications Apply paint using spray guns and other specialised equipment Inspect finished surfaces to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance with standards Perform touch-ups and repainting as required Carrying out the re-sealing of panels removed during maintenance Remove old paint and corrosion safely and effectively Maintain accurate records of materials used and work completed Candidate Requirements Proven experience in aircraft painting or industrial painting (aviation experience preferred) Knowledge of painting techniques, coatings, and finishing processes Familiarity with aviation regulations and safety standards Ability to use spray painting equipment and surface preparation tools Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Right to work in the UK Why Work with JMC Aviation?
