About the role

Powerplant Manager Job – Hungary Key Responsibilities Support Maintenance Control and MROs with on-wing troubleshooting for engines and APUs Issue detailed work instructions and review technical findings Assist with aircraft and engine acquisition, sale, and leaseback processes Support financial planning by forecasting engine/APU shop visits and costs Contribute to aircraft and engine end-of-lease activities Plan and coordinate engine shop visits with Planning teams and OEMs Provide timely engine and APU removal data to OEMs and repair shops Review and approve shop visit work scopes Liaise with OEM field service representatives to resolve operational issues Review borescope inspection reports, photos, and videos Monitor ADs, SBs, LLPs, AMP compliance and configuration control Participate in powerplant and APU tenders and contract negotiations Manage maintenance reserves and related administration Monitor engine and APU health and reliability trends Support the development of engineering team members Requirements Minimum 5 years’ experience as an airline powerplant engineer Experience with IAE V2500 and PW1100 engines APU 131-9[A] experience preferred Experience with engine contracts and end-of-lease processes Previous management experience Strong knowledge of engine and APU maintenance contracts Leadership and project management skills University technical degree Fluent English (spoken and written) Strong communication, organizational, and decision-making skills Team-oriented leadership style Great salary package and benefits on offer.
