B1 & B2 Engineer vacancies – South Wales Location: South Wales Salary: £80,000 - £84,000 per annum Hours: Seasonal shift patterns (varied 4/5-day and rotation options) I’m looking for experienced and self-driven B1 and B2 Engineers to join our base maintenance team in South Wales. If you take pride in precision, safety, and doing things properly, you’ll fit right in here. You’ll be hands-on with both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, working across a range of aircraft types to ensure every job meets Part 145 standards and our customer expectations. This role isn’t just about turning spanners - it’s about leading by example, mentoring others, and keeping operations running smoothly from start to finish. What you’ll be doing Carrying out and certifying aircraft maintenance and inspections Leading technicians and mechanics through all aspects of base maintenance checks Ensuring all documentation, task cards, and paperwork are completed correctly and on time Coordinating with planners and managers to keep work on track Maintaining the highest engineering standards for safety, accuracy, and quality Driving good hangar practices - housekeeping, FOD prevention, and continuous improvement Supporting a culture of teamwork, development, and accountability What I’m looking for ✅ Strong aircraft maintenance experience , ideally with 3 years in Base Maintenance ✅ A strong technical understanding of aircraft systems, rigging, and structural repair ✅ Confidence using AMMs, task cards, and recognised maintenance documentation ✅ A valid UK CAA or EASA B1 or B2 Licence (issued pre- or post-2020) ✅ Ideally with current or recent type ratings on any Boeing or Airbus family aircraft Nice to have: Type ratings and recency on B737 (NG/CL), B757, B767, or A320 family aircraft Why join A solid salary with a generous shift premium A seasonal shift pattern offering balance and flexibility Paid annual refresher training every August A professional, safety-first environment with a strong team culture If you’re an experienced B1 Engineer who enjoys variety, responsibility, and the satisfaction of doing the job right - I’d love to hear from you. 📩 Apply now or get in touch for a confidential chat.
