Company Brookfield Aviation is supporting an established European aircraft maintenance organisation to seeking a group of experienced Line Maintenance Mechanics to support live aircraft operations at one of Europe’s busiest aviation hubs, working in a fast-paced, safety-critical environment where aircraft turnaround performance is key. Our client is a major European aircraft maintenance organisation operating one of the most advanced maintenance facilities in Europe. Position This role is based at Schiphol Airport and sits within the organisation’s airframe division. The successful candidate will perform essential line maintenance activities directly on the ramp and at the gate, supporting on-time aircraft dispatch across multiple aircraft types. The position suits mechanics who thrive in operational environments, are comfortable working independently, and take pride in precision, compliance and safety. Key Responsibilities Perform line maintenance inspections and ensure aircraft readiness at the gate. Carry out maintenance activities strictly in accordance with approved procedures and authorisations. Complete all technical documentation and administration using electronic systems. Provide certification and technical guidance in line with regulatory requirements. Ensure compliance with all safety management system (SMS) procedures. Support continuous improvement of line maintenance processes. Work across multiple aircraft and gates within a live operational environment. Operate independently while maintaining close coordination with the wider engineering and operations teams. Requirements Minimum 3 years’ proven experience as an authorised Aircraft Mechanic (Mechanical and or Avionics). Cat A AML held, or willingness to undertake training to obtain multiple Cat A authorisations. Eligibility for appointment as Line Maintenance Mechanic following authorisation. Strong technical English, written and spoken. High awareness of safety, compliance and SMS procedures. Proactive mindset with strong ownership and decision-making capability. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Ability to work independently while maintaining a strong customer focus. Candidates must hold an EU passport or the right to work in the Netherlands. Terms Gross salary estimated range between €40,000 to €56,500 + allowances and bonuses (depending on experience). Line maintenance operations at a major European aviation hub.
