Principal Battery Life & Fleet Health Engineer Volantes Recruitment are supporting a confidential advanced eVTOL engineering programme with the appointment of a Principal-level Battery Life & Fleet Health Engineer. This is a highly technical position focused on lithium-ion battery degradation, life prediction and state-of-health strategy for demanding, safety-critical applications. Key experience required: 🔸 10+ years' battery engineering experience 🔸 Strong understanding of lithium-ion degradation mechanisms 🔸 Cycle-life & calendar-ageing prediction 🔸 Accelerated ageing test programme development 🔸 Battery life-prediction modelling & validation 🔸 State-of-health (SOH) definition and estimation 🔸 Retirement/replacement criteria for battery assets
