This position is responsible for conducting simulator pilot checks, licensing tests, instructor assessments of competence validations (AOC) and EBT training programmes as required by the regulator and in line with company policies and procedures. WE ARE LOOKING FOR Conduct FSTD (Flight Simulator Training Device) type rating training and ground school in line with company procedures and requirements. Conduct recency training as required by the company in accordance with the approved syllabus. Conduct Fixed Base and Full Flight Simulator transition training. Conduct instructor and examiner simulator training. Complete and submit accurate detailed reports and assessments of pilots under instruction in accordance with company guidance and policy via the existing electronic reporting system. Recommend additional or remedial training for trainee pilots who are not progressing at an acceptable rate as per expected performance standards. Provide recommendations to training management for any changes that may improve efficiency, safety, quality of training and standardize procedures and teaching techniques. Support with ad hoc projects, course development and other tasks as required. With its unique facilities and resources, Emirates Flight Training Academy offers the opportunity to learn to fly in the most advanced flight training academy in the world. Our fully-operational flight operations centre is dedicated to Emirates Flight Training Academy cadets only, making flight training part of everyday life at the Academy. This means you will have the opportunity to gain a complete operational experience in one holistic environment. As a Flying Instructor in EFTA, you are responsible for delivering high quality flying training instruction, initially on SR-22 single engine aircraft, to ab-initio pilot cadets, at the Emirates Flight Training Academy. Instructional duties include on-aircraft, in-simulator and on-ground instruction, preparation of lessons, pre-and post-flight briefings, accurate report writing and assessment. Having demonstrated proficiency in the single engine instructional role, there is the potential to move onto the DA42 twin engine fleet. Irrespective of fleet, having successfully completed 5-years in the instructional role at EFTA, instructors will have the opportunity to apply to join Emirates Airline, an opportunity no other FTO can offer. In this role: You will provide training and flying instruction to ab-initio cadets. Conduct pre and post flight training briefings to ensure cadets have the requisite knowledge and understand the process and procedure fully. Conduct and deliver flying skills training in aircraft, simulator, and ground instruction to ensure the cadets meet the prescribed standards of flying. Conduct regular checks for cadets to ensure they meet the course standards. Ensure the safety of the cadets is paramount and report incidents to the concerned personnel for any violations and situations that may affect the safety of the operation. Monitor cadet’s proficiency and progress on regular basis and generate accurate reports of their performance. Research, develop, and recommend new training methods to further improve the standard of learning and performance; and, Deliver other flying-related training initiatives as directed by the CFI. To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements: You must have experience as an Ab-initio flying instructional experience in a large ATO. Minimum 700hrs Total Time, 500hrs Instructional time, 200hrs IFR time. Minimum GCAA or any ICAO Commercial Pilot License (CPL) or Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) with a Single Engine Class Rating. Minimum Flight Instructor Rating with Night and Instrument privileges. Class 1 Medical Certificate without restrictions. ICAO English Language Proficiency level 5 or greater. Identify performance gaps and recommend remedial or additional training as required to uphold safety and competency standards. Provide detailed feedback to training management regarding pilot performance trends, systemic issues, or potential improvements in instructional methodology and training effectiveness. Support training program development, course reviews, and other departmental initiatives related to simulator and ground-based pilot evaluation. Licensed Aircraft Engineer - Base Maintenance
Bewerben Licensed Aircraft Engineer - Base Maintenance Job Purpose At Base Maintenance, our expert engineers deliver unparalleled service for all aircraft checks, from comprehensive inspections to major system repairs. We handle cabin retrofits, aircraft deliveries, and detailed inspection programs for Airbus A380, A350 and Boeing 777. Our team excels in timely, cost-effective solutions for A & C checks, engine change, and landing gear changes, along with unscheduled maintenance and pre-service checks. To carry out routine maintenance tasks and defect rectification of aircraft as per company and associated regulatory procedures. In this role you will: Carry out aircraft maintenance and servicing tasks in compliance with manufacturer and safety procedures. Ensure that assigned zones/aircraft are maintained as per latest revisions of approved authority Technical Publications such as Aircraft documentation, Technical Notices, Quality Notices, and Engineering Procedures Manual etc. Ensure that personal approvals/licences are valid and applicable to aircraft types. Ensure all off-aircraft tasks i.e. spares handling, robberies, hold items etc. are handled in compliance with company procedures and that the associated paperwork is complete to ensure full transparency. Determine if tooling/equipment used is serviceable and appropriate for the task and use specialised tooling where required. Ensure that trouble shooting procedures/tools used for fault rectification are carried out in a cost effective and efficient manner. Carry out component changes as necessary as part of trouble shooting process and/or as directed by immediate supervisor. These should be done in accordance with AMM, IPC or other manufacturer/vendor documentation to complete the task. Ensure that all activities performed are carried out in accordance with all safety rules and regulations and in adherence to company procedures, highlighting an deficiencies/requirements (whether for aircraft or hangar use) through the effective use of reporting tools in support of the overall quality improvement process and actively participate in propagating and enhancing the Group safety culture. Ensure all work locations are kept clean and excellent housekeeping conditions are maintained. Maintain effective communication with Colleagues including Managers and Senior Engineers to ensure a seamless flow of information and to highlight any potential operational issues. Ensure that relevant reports are related to service delays, incidents and accidents are completed in detail including the identification of issues that led to the event so that rectification can be sought through short term maintenance planning. Manage the performance of staff using performance review process and system. Ensure SMART goal setting, interim/annual reviews and development plans are in place for assigned staff members in accordance with company procedures. Attend training/recurrent modules as required to enhance skills and comply with CAR 145. Qualification To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements: Licensed Aircraft Engineer TE.03 Degree/Honors (12+3) in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Avionics, Electronic, or Technical Engineering, or a Maintenance Engineering Licence. Minimum 10 years of Engineering experience, with 5+ years as certifying staff. Minimum of 2 aircraft type approvals with at least one of the Emirates aircraft types (A380, A350, or B777). Preferred GCAA, UK CAA or EASA license eligible for conversion. Fully conversant with Air Legislation and legal matters that relate to the operation and maintenance of aircraft to international standards.
