Job Title: MCC Engineer Location: New Caledonia Job Type: 6-month contract About the Company: VHR is hiring on behalf of a leading aviation company known for delivering high-quality aircraft maintenance and repair services. The company prioritizes safety, efficiency, and operational excellence across its fleet. Job Overview: As a MCC (Maintenance Control Center) Engineer, you will support the flight crew by offering real-time technical guidance and troubleshooting based on MEL (Minimum Equipment List) interpretations. You will act as the main point of contact between the operations control and maintenance departments, ensuring timely and compliant aircraft recovery and maintenance activities. Key Responsibilities: Support pilots with MEL dispatch interpretation and technical troubleshooting. Coordinate AOG (Aircraft on Ground) recovery, including spare parts requests. Monitor deferred defects (MEL/CDL) and ensure rectification within time limits. Investigate repetitive technical issues and liaise with maintenance providers. Secure approved data when existing documentation is insufficient. Collaborate with the Operations Control Centre to adjust maintenance plans. Requirements: EASA Part 66 B1 and/or B2 license with A350 type rating - is a must. A320 NEO (PW) and A330 NEO (Trent) type rating on license, but both would be an advantage. Proven MCC experience. Recency on a/c types would be an advantage Valid training in Fuel Tank Safety, EWIS, and Human Factors. Fluent in English.
