Head of Maintenance Planning – Part 145 MRO St Athan, Wales | Full Time Summary A key leadership role responsible for administering, developing, and managing all aspects of aircraft maintenance planning within a fast-growing Part 145 MRO operation. Main Responsibilities Develop and implement planning procedures to support a rapidly expanding Part 145 MRO. Chair aircraft pre-input meetings. Review incoming work scope proposals in collaboration with the Sales team. Plan all accepted work packages. Collaborate with logistics and production teams to ensure smooth aircraft input and efficient turnaround times. Manage all communications with CAMOs regarding work packages. Oversee the management of technical records and technical publications. Attend global planning and sales meetings on behalf of the Maintenance division. Key Attributes Strong motivational skills with the ability to bring out the best in team members. Good commercial acumen. Ability to work well under pressure and consistently deliver results. Positive, solutions-focused approach to problem identification and resolution. Well organised, with the capability to coordinate complex and dynamic projects. Strong communication and team working skills. Skills & Experience 5+ years' experience in maintenance planning within an airline or MRO environment (3rd party MRO experience advantageous). Managerial experience, with a proven ability to train and motivate a team. In-depth knowledge of EASA and CAA Part-M and Part-145 legislation. Strong IT skills. Fluent in English.
