Technical Support Engineer – Permanent Opportunity We are pleased to be supporting a leading European airline in the search for an experienced Technical Support Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. Key Responsibilities Develop engineering procedures and solutions to address long-term aircraft reliability issues. Investigate repetitive defects, implement corrective actions, and monitor their effectiveness following rectification. Identify potential system failures through predictive maintenance programmes and coordinate proactive corrective actions. Collaborate closely with the Maintenance Control Centre (MCC) and engineering teams to resolve day-to-day operational issues and support Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recoveries. Manage CEIS and trial projects, including OEM reporting, technical communication, and post-trial evaluations. Oversee temporary repairs carried out during AOG events or base maintenance, liaising with OEMs to secure permanent repair instructions and coordinating with planning and materials teams. Handle complex long-term troubleshooting cases beyond the scope of MCC, including communication with OEMs and coordination of rectification activities. Build and maintain strong relationships with aircraft manufacturers to support continued airworthiness and improve fleet reliability. Drive process improvements to enhance aircraft reliability and optimise the Aircraft Maintenance Programme (AMP). Lead ad hoc engineering projects and ensure compliance with Safety Management System requirements. Experience & Requirements 4–7+ years of overall industry experience, including at least 3 years in a relevant technical support role within a CAMO or AMO environment. Thorough knowledge of EASA Part-M, Part-CAMO, and Part-145 regulatory requirements. Experience with AMOS maintenance software is preferred. Bachelor's or Master's degree in an engineering or related discipline. EASA Part-66 B1/B2 licence is considered an advantage. A320 Family (CEO/NEO) Level III type training is desirable. Fuel Tank Safety (FTS), EWIS, and Human Factors training would be beneficial. What’s on Offer Permanent, direct-hire position with a major European airline.
